CE Mid-Atlantic/Mid-South currently has an exciting Inside Sales opportunity to be based in either Richmond, VA or Northern VA (Sterling, VA). This position may qualify to work remotely in a hybrid capacity with some office availability.


This role serves as the primary point of contact for helping HVAC contractors improve and scale their business by offering our portfolio of technology-enabled products and services. The portfolio is built through a combination of in-house development in our partnership with Watsco Ventures (OnCallAir & CreditForComfort) and strategic partnerships, investments or acquisitions through Watsco (HouseCallPro & AlertLabs). The ideal candidate must recognize the needs of the HVAC business and then convince the principals of the business that the software based tools offered by Watsco Ventures will meet those needs. This is a collaborative effort that will be built with a team of overachievers who excel in execution, collaboration, problem solving and results.


As an Inside Sales Representative, you will support the HVAC Aftermarket & Special Products division by providing technical support and selling products and/or services via the telephone or online. You will seek new business opportunities by responding to sales leads and targeting untapped markets in the state of Virginia who can benefit from our vast array of HVAC products.




  • Increase contractor enrollment and their continued utilization of our Watsco Ventures software based tools.

  • Pro-actively communicate and build relationships with our HVAC contractor partners, CE sales associates, and Watsco Ventures team members

  • Develop and conduct presentations of our products, software tools, and value proposition to principals of HVAC companies and CE sales associates

  • Collaborate on the development of marketing initiatives intended to increase qualified lead opportunities that you then work to convert into enrollments

  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly individual quotas are exceeded

  • Input your communications, schedules, and tasks in our CRM and utilize that data to improve enrollment of Watco Ventures tools.

  • Work closely with the Watsco Customer Success team to onboard and support customers

  • Gain expertise in the Residential HVAC industry, the operations of an HVAC contractor, and the software market for home service providers

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; AA/AS preferred

  • 1-3 years of sales or marketing related experience

  • Self-motivated with a pro-active approach to achieving goals

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, goal oriented sales environment

  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus and high work ethic

  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Forms, OneDrive, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc
