We have an opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Bishop Woods, WI or Roselle, Il team. You will serve as a product owner collaborating with engineering and the business to drive the strategic development of key product portfolios. This individual will focus on short and long-term programs that honor our Win Right values of Customer First, Positive Energy, Respect & Teamwork, Absolute Integrity, Accountability for Performance, and Innovation & Adaptability. Pentair's Product Managers drive strategic vision by being curious, courageous, and agile. We use those strategic drivers to execute programs, deliver results, and leverage teams with a sincere passion to develop our talent.

Our Product Managers own the financial statement and its results. This includes overall revenue, profitability, vitality, and market share gain. This position offers focus, urgency, and sharpness to the market presence of the product line. This position is based at our Marketing Office in Brookfield, WI (Bishop's Woods) or Roselle, Il.

You will:


  • Execute strategic initiatives to drive sustainable organic growth by identifying, preparing, executing, and tracking plans to grow your business.

  • Lead strategic product planning through effective use of product development roadmaps.

  • Conduct Voice of Customer (VoC) activities to support NPD and product development roadmaps.

  • Assist with Market Research & Competitive Intelligence by integrating outputs into strategic recommendations that guide product decision-making.

  • Support and drive New Product Development (NPD) activities through marketing strategies, costing, price positions, channels of distribution, and go-to-market strategy.

  • Execute pricing strategy through understanding of market acceptance and competitive landscape.

  • Support sales and operations through accurate forecasting on organic & incremental growth.

  • Work with Marketing to develop and execute go to market strategies for product & program launches, develop product/sales support materials and conduct periodic sales training sessions.

  • Participate in customer meetings and line reviews as needed to support the business.

  • Influence global counterparts and drive consistency across offering by minimizing "region specific" product launches.

Key Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering. MBA a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, and/or Product Development.

  • Experience managing P&L statements to drive revenue, profitability, and vitality.

  • Quantitative skills with proven experience interpreting data and drawing conclusions.

  • Demonstrated success in driving change, achieving results, and developing & continually improving standards of performance.

  • Proven experience in developing strategic product lifecycle plans: NPD roadmap development, current state maintenance, sun-setting, etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment, including the ability to quickly develop relationships and influence peers.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong active listening skills.
