3rd Shift Washbay Lead - Janesville, WI

Current Working Hours 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM (4/10 work schedule)

$20.00 / hour

Van Galder/Coach USAis looking for a motivated individual to fill our 3rd shift Washbay Lead position.



Responsibilities:

• Washing the exterior of Motor Coach buses, School buses, and any vehicle assigned using both manual and automated methods.


• Cleaning and disinfecting the interior of Motor Coach buses, School buses, and any vehicle as assigned.


• Recharge lavatory holding tanks.


• Sanitize lavatory areas.


• Restocking supplies on Motor Coach buses.


• Cleaning the Wash Bay facility and other buildings when needed.


• Check fluids, including fuel, oil, DEF, etc.


• Scheduling vehicles for cleaning


• Perform routine reports and correspondence when needed


• Plow and salt Janesville base and terminals as necessary


• Ensure all "Lost & Found" property found is reported

Requirements:

• Obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements, and Airbrake restrictions removed.


• Able to work in fast paced environment.


• Able to work in sometimes warm or cold environments depending on the temperature outside


• Must be able to work weekends and holidays


• Maintain flexibility on work hours / work days


• Constant standing, grasping, repetitive motions with hands and feet, talking, reaching, and turning/twisting


• Frequent lifting of up to 10-20 lbs


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds items with minimal exertion


• Must be able to stand for entire 10 hour shift including walking up/down steps in and out of busses


• Must be able to reach overhead to use broom on top of bus as well as reach into overhead bins


• Must be able to use both arms and hands, and be able to reach


• Must be agile to move between bus seats and rows


• Must be able to climb up and down a ladder
