SUMMARY
An Appearance Products (AP) Installer, under the leadership of a designated Manager and /or Supervisor, will support the process to satisfy new and current customer demands for Toyota vehicles by providing the vehicles to dealers and customers that meet their demands. An AP Installer will 1) prepare vehicles for the installation of accessories and/or 2) install accessories on new vehicles in the VPC of GST. Accessories may include one or more of over fifty items such as luggage racks, pinstripes, dust deflector, wind deflector, side molding, door guards, wood applique, decals and/ or protective film. Additionally, an AP Installer will move vehicles to designated areas inside and around the Appearance Products building as well as utilize the Pick-to-Light system and computers to pick accessories to be installed.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus zero to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend written and oral English instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively discuss information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential responsibilities of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
