This position is a remarkable opportunity for an existing in-house Proposal Coordinator who wants to work with and learn from a highly experienced BD team, which is well-known among our teaming partners for producing high-quality proposals. You will have the benefit of full-time remote work at a mid-sized business that has a mature, online collaboration and content management infrastructure. Reporting to the Vice President, Strategic Programs andworking collaboratively with the Versar Security Systems (VSS) Team, the Proposal Manager will have the responsibility of assisting with and coordinating all phases of the proposal process in response to U.S. government requests for proposals (RFPs). The ability to meet deadlines, a commitment to teamwork, and detailed follow-through will be the key to success in this role.
Experience:
Proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment. Experienced in scheduling and running proposal kick-off meetings, facilitating key review meetings / final document review, coordinating proposal governance / sign off, document production and delivery of the completed proposal, typically electronically but sometimes a physical delivery is required. Experienced in updating content management databases and Salesforce CRM.
Responsibilities Include:
Evaluating and understanding client requirements for incoming Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFI), Market Surveys, and Sources Sought.
Collaborate cross-functionally within VSS to gather and develop proposal content and ensure accuracy and compliance for each solicitation.
Manage and coordinate the efforts of proposal teams including volume leads, writers, graphic artists, copy editors, and teaming partners to ensure collaboration, adherence to schedule, and successful delivery of compliant and compelling proposals.
Managing document templates and alignment with company branding.
Be able to oversee the development of multiple simultaneous proposals on different timelines.
Analyze solicitations for deadlines, requirements, forms, etc.
Provide writing and copy-editing support for the proposal, as needed.
Responsible for refining, non-technical proposal content from existing proposal artifacts, and coordinating with team members for ensuring compliance to schedules and data calls.
Coordinating and editing technical inputs for grammar and clarity; revising and improving technical content prepared by others, to ensure readability and compliance, without distorting original intent.
Manage final production, white glove, and delivery.

Availability to work more than 40 hours/week when necessary, to ensure successful proposal execution and delivery
Ability to travel as needed, domestically.
Familiarity with Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements and Joint Ventures
Education and Work Experience:
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
5-7 years' demonstrated experience leading Federal government proposal efforts
