Greenheck Group is adding a Director of Total Rewards to join the Human Resources team. As the Director of Total Rewards, you will lead the development and implementation of the organization's total rewards strategy, including compensation, health and welfare benefits, retirement, and wellbeing programs. You will serve as a leader in enhancing Greenheck Group's total rewards programs through progressive benefits and compensation strategies, to position Greenheck Group as an employer choice while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
What you'll be responsible for:
Provide leadership in defining and executing a compelling total rewards strategy, in order to recruit and retain top talent.
Design, implement, administer, and maintain corporate-wide compensation and total rewards programs, policies, communication, and procedures. Ensure total rewards programs are designed to support Greenheck Group's strategic objectives, comply with legal requirements, are cost effective and market competitive.
Stay current on benefit trends and programs; evaluate and drive changes that are innovative and data driven.
Build and maintain strong partnership with key stakeholders. Provide consultative advice to HR and leadership on benefits and compensation related opportunities and challenges, total rewards strategy, and policy and guideline interpretation.
Monitor and measure effectiveness of existing and proposed benefits plans to ensure they are cost-effective, competitive, and meet the needs of both employees and the Company; recommend changes which provide value, are within budget and consistent with benefit trends, and long-term strategy.
Lead the development and delivery of compelling total rewards communication strategy, to improve employee engagement, maximize perceived value and maintain legal compliance. Oversee the development of employee communication to ensure benefit programs are communicated effectively and accurately.
Oversee compensation strategy and market competitive compensation program, including merit planning, variable compensation strategies, trend analysis, executive compensation, and financial modeling.
Oversee the leave of absence, return to work, and disability programs, in compliance with legal guidelines.
Own relationships with and provide oversight to benefit broker, carriers, third-party vendors, consultants and other external partners.
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of total rewards programs, ensuring alignment with strategies and outcomes. Recommends changes, as appropriate.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree in business, management, accounting or human resources
10+ years of related experience in benefits is required
Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) is a plus
Must have excellent communication skills and analytical ability
Prior experience in compensation and benefits administration in a multi-state, union and non-union environment is preferred

If not in one of those three locations, the role can be a hybrid remote position with required travel as needed
