The EFT Specialist is responsible for productivity, quality, and efficiencies specific to the Electronic Funds Transfer Department. Responsibilities include knowledge of various positions throughout EFT, including ACH, Wire, Card Management and Dispute processing. Additional responsibilities include reporting, project participation and process improvement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Cross train in EFT positions to provide coverage as necessary; ACH, Wire and Card
  


• 
  Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures and controls/dual controls. Maintain and update procedure manuals.
  


• 
  Perform various monthly reporting.
  


• 
  Process Regulation E Disputes.
  


• 
  Coordinate internal and external EFT Audits.
  


• 
  Assist on projects, process improvements and other key initiatives related to functions within EFT, to include planning, research, testing, training and documentation of procedures and controls.
  


• 
  Assist with documenting and addressing operating and system problems when they occur.


• Oversee internal Vendor Management and Information Assurance Requirements; User Access Policies, Complementary User Controls, Technology Risk Assessments and Application Level Security Validation.


• Assist in preparing, updating and carrying out EFT Business Continuity Plans.
  


• 
  Assist with Regulation Compliance
  


• 
  Participate in educational opportunities related to primary responsibilities
  

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  High school diploma or GED.
  


• 
  Previous experience with and/or thorough knowledge of numerous bank products and services.
  


• 
  Strong P.C. skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  


• 
  Possess strong self-management, organizational, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  


• 
  Possess good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and adjust priorities.
  


• 
  Professional communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to communicate well with internal departments and vendors associated with the bank.
