Job Description:



Administer the company's Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and processes, including all user account and access changes for new hires, internal moves, and separations. Develop and implement IAM system configuration changes to meet security requirements and maintain workflows. Review new systems and changes to existing systems for access and authentication requirements, and coordinate integration into existing systems and processes.


  • Three years in identity and access management and security administration

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Authentication and authorization concepts and technologies

  • Identity and access management configuration, administration, concepts and technologies

  • Configuring and managing role-based access

  • Active Directory administration

  • Open databases (Sybase, MS SQL Server, etc.)

  • Problem analysis, triage and trouble-shooting methodologies

  • Network and workstation operating systems

  • Incident response concepts and processes

  • Auditing and testing procedures


  • Problem solving

  • Customer service

  • Microsoft Excel - Intermediate

  • Microsoft Word - Intermediate

  • Microsoft Outlook - Intermediate

  • Microsoft PowerPoint - Intermediate

  • Microsoft Visio - Intermediate

  • Database queries/commands - Basic

  • Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication

Ability to:

  • Configure software

  • Methodically analyze and solve problems

  • Use sound judgment in addressing requests and completing tasks

  • Develop process and system documentation

  • Collaborate and coordinate with other teams

  • Identify and implement functional system requirements

  • Adequately manage and work within a ticketing system queue management


  • Bachelors degree in computer sciences or related courses in business administration

  • Knowledge of network and software architectures (basic)

  • Knowledge of Risk assessment methodologies and processes

  • Ability to analyze, develop and execute test plans

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and related compliance (e.g. SOX, PCI, HIPAA, HITECH, etc.)

  • Knowledge of security and risk frameworks (e.g. NIST, SANS, HITRUST, ISO, CoBIT, etc.)

  • One or more technical or security certifications (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, GIAC, etc.)

  • Experience in system administration and technical support
