Overview

Performs maintenance and repair of fuel dispensing systems for SC Fuels facilities (unattended and retail). Conduct general maintenance and repair at fueling site, retail stores and corporate headquarters. Maintain clean and safe facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform and assist in the safe operation of company operated fueling facilities, buildings and properties.

Includes, but not limited to:

Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of fuel dispensing equipment, point of sale units, fuel control computers and other on-site equipment (training provided)
• Inspect fueling equipment and ensure safe and accurate operation


• General facility maintenance and repair, to include painting, minor plumbing and cleaning

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technician experience perferred
  


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and is self-motivated


• Critical thinking and ability to prioritize and organize tasks.


• Strong knowledge and skill working with tools (manual and electrical) used for general repairs.


• Working knowledge of Windows operating system and mobile device platforms.


• Perform physical work in an outdoor environment year round


• Knowledge of the proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies


• Clean driving record


• Excels in working in a team environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work outdoors / warehouse environment


• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds


• Ability to work around hazardous materials such as gasoline, diesel, paint, cleaners
