Sr. Test Engineer / Test Engineer

Job Description:Designs, develops, and implements
cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for
all phases of product development and manufacturing. Prepares test and
diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes
specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and
equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with cross functional groups to achieve
    product goals

  • Contribute to the development of Micro-electronic and
    fiber optic products

  • Perform test and measurements on Micro-electronic and
    fiber optic products

  • Product support throughout the product life cycle

  • Data analysis using sound statistical techniques

Specific tasks:


  • L-PIC auto-tester operations and maintenance

  • Auto-tester and burn-in tile loading using the Palomar 3800

  • Palomar 3800 operation and maintenance

  • Manual wafer aligner operation and maintenance

  • Fox XP burn-in chamber operation and maintenance

  • Burn-in data analysis (wafer and L-PIC)

  • NIR camera operation and maintenance

  • Cu migration test setup and execution

  • L-PIC tile debug tester set-up and operation

  • Equipment co-manager for all the L-PIC equipment (calibration, maintenance, etc.)

Qualifications:


  • BS in Physics or Electrical Engineering

  • 0-2 years of experience with micro-electronics and/or
    fiber optics

  • Must have programming skills, ideally C#and
    LabView

  • Must have strong engineering/laboratory
    testinginclination, be a self-starter and willing/ability to learn
    quickly

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Laboratory equipment, optics and
    measurements
