About the Role:

This is a really exciting time to join ID8, our in-house agency. With new leadership, new marketing campaigns, and ID8 in more demand than ever, our cup runneth over. In a good way! We're an agency of 22 talented people in two locations, San Francisco, CA and Tempe, AZ. We do it all. From TV and radio to every imaginable kind of digital including social, video and banners, email, CRM, homepage and web pages, plus internal launches.

We're creative directors, art directors, writers, designers, web designers, producers, project managers and account people. But what makes us unique is that we're also animators, illustrators, video editors and coders, so we can produce things internally when we want to.

Now, our goal is to scale even bigger, by adding a Creative Director to help oversee work as well as create campaigns of their own, working hand in hand with our most Senior Creative Director as well as our ECD. As part of ID8 leadership you'll help drive consistency in the level of our design, creative concepts and messaging. We've worked hard to set a high bar. This is an opportunity for you to help us take it even higher and have a lot of fun at the same time.

Responsibilities:

• Team with a writing partner and other creatives to create work and tell stories that make our brand more meaningful to a broader audience.




• Emphasis on design. Ensure that we're not only doing great work, but that the art direction and design is as great as the concept.




• Work closely with Senior Creative Director and ECD




• Work closely with clients as a creative leader. In meetings, presentation, on production etc.




• Help guide external production resources as well as work with our internal ones.




• Inspire all of us on ID8 with your work and your passion.




• Be part of the fun. Help build our culture within ID8 and our already great reputation in the company.

Qualifications:

• 8 plus years' experience at an ad agency, design studio or in-house design department, minimum of a few years as creative director; Bachelor's degree preferred




• Fluency in Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator), knowledge of Sketch or Figma a huge plus




• Strong understanding of graphic design principles, methods and practices, as well as all phases of design, production, and delivery for email, display, web, video and print marketing/corporate materials




• After Effect, Final Cut Pro, HTML and illustration skills a plus




• Excellent visual design skills, sense of typography, attention to detail, and ability to adhere to brand guidelines




• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time




• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines




• Team player who can also work independently




• Can take clear direction and feedback
