Back-Up Spotter - Day Shift

Job Responsibilities:

• "Spots" designated trailer(s) from trailer lot to assigned dock door or from dock door to trailer lot.


• Ensures all trailer wheels are chocked.


• Maintain daily equipment condition report.


• Maintain a clean parking/docking area in accordance with standards.


• Maintain driver maintenance of vehicle.


• Ensure trailers are in adequate operational condition.


• Assist in other areas in shipping/receiving.


• Responsible for trailer inventory.

Job Qualification Requirements:

Required:

• Must have a current Class A CDL license.


• Current DOT Physical and Drug Screen.


• Minimum of 1 year driving experience including backing into docks.


• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.


• Internally motivated and self-directed.
