SUMMARY

Maintain presence in the operations center and rapidly respond to user's questions and/or issues with CFED IT assets. Maintain integrity of the technology environment including Laptops, iPads, iPhones, Flip Phones, networking gear, and Printers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:


  • Supports users via email, instant messaging, telephone, and face-to-face interaction.
  • Provides software support (updates, installation, security patches).
  • Performs advanced troubleshooting for workstations, servers, and related resources. Gathers information, assesses issue, determines escalation need/path, and leads resolution.
  • Participates in project planning for new services and/or modifications to existing services
  • Creates, maintains, and provides process documentation for the user's to utilize IT assets and check IT assets in and out
  • Inventory control and tracking of IT assets including laptops, iPads, cell-phones, and walkie-talkies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Manages multiple projects without having direct supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in information technology or other related field and 3 to 5 years of experience in a large IT environment with extensive Microsoft, Dell, and Apple infrastructure

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Effective written, communication, presentation, and computer skills including working knowledge of all Microsoft Office and M365 products.
  • Experience with troubleshooting user's issues, reviewing information to resolve, evaluating options, and implementing solutions.
  • Able to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
