Job Description:

This is role can be located in Columbus or New York. Our ideal candidate communicates effectively with various partners across the organization and flourishes with driving Asset Management strategies thru innovative technology solutions. This critical work requires the candidate to have a clear vision for the platform, which they convey to leaders and business partners alike. In addition, this role is responsible for leading the backlog, defining the roadmap, and proactively solving problems that might affect delivery or production performance. The candidate will work directly with technology teams to improve and modernize the overall designs to run various business processes

Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for digital and emerging technologies. In addition to being a seasoned, well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.

• Work on some of the most complex problems imaginable at the intersection of two dynamic industries: finance and technology

• Partner closely with our clients (Trading, Portfolio Managers, Sales, Operations) to understand their needs in order to shape the product roadmap

• Understand and articulate business issues to define the right solutions

• Utilize critical insights from product management research to bring value propositions and business cases

• Partner with various product owners to plan, design, and deliver end-to-end cross platform solutions

• Champion the application and lead cross-platform initiatives within a matrixed organization

• Work closely with our UX and product partners to deliver high quality software and amazing user experiences

• Build release plans and feature roadmaps aligned to strategic goals and organizational priorities while effectively leading partner tradeoffs

• Lead one or more Agile teams through writing and grooming Epics and User stories, planning, developing, testing and releasing value to clients

• Present regular readouts to leaders, stakeholders and business partners on overall status of the platform health

• Ensure the platform is successful in achieving its objectives in a timely fashion and defining return on investment

• Be accountable for day-to-day support and feedback, content, training and tools that ensure user enablement

• Continuously integrate feedback from metrics, clients, partners and stakeholders into recommendations for improving delivery and evolving our operating models and agile frameworks

• Define the support requirements and application deployment/launch strategies to promote awareness and drive adoption

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus a minimum of 6-8 years' experience in a Product Management, Product Owner, Program Management or Scrum Master role

• Understanding of financial modeling, forecasting and tracking as it relates to product delivery

• Background in data, analytics and modeling

• Advanced knowledge of business processes and workflow management design

• Experienced with product development/ ownership and guiding the product lifecycle from requirements to prototyping and impact measurement

• Proven track record of owning, planning, defining, and delivering an annual roadmap

• Solid communication skills to simplify complex technical topics

• Results oriented self-starter who can lead efforts with little or high-level direction

• Strong ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment

• Excel in prioritizing daily functions and dealing with multiple deadlines and high volumes of work

Additional Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies

• Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables/index), Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Project

• Experience in JIRA Tracking System, Sharepoint and Confluence

• Knowledge of Signavio, Xceptor and Altryx a plus

• Understanding of various Access, reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects) and visualization tools (e.g.,Tableau, QlikView)
