Position Overview

As a Resource Support Specialist (RSS), you will be responsible for delivering the optimal technician availability and coverage ensuring successful Installations in a specified region.

You are responsible to act as a liaison between the Vendor Partner/Subcontractor, JSC (Job Site Coordinator) and the IMO (Installation Management Office). As a RSS you are responsible for guidance on key administrative and analytical activities related to technician availability, resource allocation, shift planning, technician scheduling, and project planning. You will provide support to business teams and technicians across the assigned geography in an effort to achieve key metrics, drive consistent operational efficiencies and manage cost while striving to achieve customer installation success. This position is responsible for ensuring alignment with field management for technician and flex labor resource planning. This position may include evening and weekend hours and necessary travel.

You are responsible for

• Serving as the lead and primary point of contact to support assigned Installation Technicians and JSC's in multiple states across numerous regions.
• Partnering closely with the Director Field Implementation (DFI) and Jobsite Coordinator (JSC). Provide oversight and support cost control efforts by eliminating overtime and maximizing productivity.
• Proactive management of resources to ensure meets, special projects & anything outside of break/fix calls that need tech assignment are scheduled timely & completed.
• Ensuring the GANTT and ADP Schedule Planner reflect accurately with technician availability through end-to-end resource management & ownership of all components.
• Proactively solve scheduling problems by differentiating exceptions and defer requests to the appropriate channels.
• Escalating urgent needs and Technician related issues & concerns to appropriate management team.
• Participating in regular business meetings including performance call reviews and project planning discussions.

• Self-directed individual and complete tasks with limited direct supervision. Works well in team environments
• Proficient in Microsoft and PC skills
• 1-2 years of project management experience
• Ability to use logic and understand business efficiency
• Strong communication skills (oral/written), and ability to effectively interface with customers and suppliers at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred or relevant equivalent experience
