Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Chief of Staff, Strategy Office in our Boston, MA location.

Chief of the staff is a newly created position within Secure Power Strategy team, which is to own, manage and facilitate Secure Power Division (SPD) Executive meetings and activities to support the organizational decision making and initiatives.

What do you get to do in this position?

  • Responsible for managing team's external communication via social media as well as other external events.
  • Support SPD executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation by owning and managing SPD ExCom monthly and quarterly meetings, including agenda creation, topics selection and presenters' invitation, action items tracking and follow ups
  • Participate and support strategy formulation, including but not limited to the definition, initiatives, market and competitors analysis from development to deliveries under the guidance of senior leadership and heads of Line of Business
  • Serve as liaison among executives, senior leaders, and staff regarding company climate, project updates, proposals, and strategic planning
  • Facilitate daily operations through collaboration with senior management and department leaders, performing an array of administrative tasks from managing monthly ExCom meetings, calendars, generating correspondence, maintaining hard copy and electronic files, planning and coordinating annual corporate meetings, and scheduling facilities
  • Work closely with the head of Strategy of SPD on special add-on-hoc projects

This job might be for you if have:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred, bachelor's degree is required
  • 7 years in a business or consulting role
  • Proven experience organizing and influencing senior leaders and/or other teams
  • Exceptional communicator in written and verbal form and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience with strategic planning, process and methodologies
  • Master in MS PowerPoint presentation tools and analytical mindsets

  • Additional preferred skills/experiences include:

    • Proven success in a project coordination and supporting function
    • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
    • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
    • Preferred experiences in ThinkCell software
