SUMMARY:

The Truck Treater has primary responsibility for providing chemical treatment of oil wells and identifying issues that may arise while on site. Position is responsible for safe operation and working within the HSE parameters for the role.

JOB DUTIES:

• Chemical treating of oil wells according to schedule provided


• Troubleshooting issues on all oilfield wells assigned


• Awareness and ability to recognize issues with oil wells and ability to communicate them to customer and immediate supervisor in a timely and thorough manner


• Interact with customer and other field personnel to answer questions and resolve issues when needed


• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot field equipment to support chemical treatment programs


• Maintain and submit paperwork to support chemical treatments


• Perform preventive maintenance/ cleaning on pumps and trailers after daily use


• Maintain company property (equipment, tools, computer, phones, etc.)


• Maintain truck, trailer, and cargo in compliance with DOT regulations


• Perform and maintains daily DOT regulatory requirements associated with CDL (pre/post trips, driving logs)


• Obtain and maintain accurate shipping papers and placards


• Maintain PPE in accordance with company policy


• Assess storage tanks and containment's for regulatory compliance


• Other duties as may be assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Must be able to bend, kneel, lift to 50lbs, twist, climb, pull.


• Ability to tighten/un-tighten fittings to well head and hoses.


• Team player with ability to perform physical work


• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements


• Acceptable driving record for a minimum of 3 years


• Basic math skills


• Computer skills


• Previous oil and gas well experience


• Experience with operating heavy machinery used in oil and gas operation
