Overview:
The Office of Federal Programs is looking for candidates with a commitment to serve districts and schools to achieve their goals and help raise student performance. The candidates should have experience in working in the education or related fields as well as working with federal grants. The selected candidates will serve as a single point of contact to superintendents, treasurers and district staff on how to use implement federal programs and use resources to improve student outcomes.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Provides training and support to school districts regarding the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) and the Ohio Department of Education’s data and compliance systems:
Provide support and technical assistance to school districts and nonpublic schools regarding the federal emergency relief funds (i.e. CARES Act, ESSER and GEER programs).
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of a master’s degree in one of the following areas (i.e., education, business administration, social sciences, public administration) and 3 years of experience in any combination of the following:
