We are looking for a senior leader in the PointNext Services Engineering Resolution Enablement and Global Lab team with relevant work experience in leading and building high performance teams with proven results in project execution with high quality and schedule/scope adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and ongoing leadership for a team of 10-15 individual contributors ranging from Entry to Master level, coordinating, managing, and leading programs to drive the engineering development and implementation of products and service offerings.


• Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with program and organizational roadmaps.


• Partner across the HPE Pointnext Businesses to ensure best in class service capabilities are enabled and future strategic opportunities are evaluated.


• Provide hands-on leadership to design, prioritize, implement strategy to help the business deliver bet in class engineering solutions.


• Be able to solve problems at a high level as well as deep dive into the details.


• Communicate project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and internal and external development partners.


• Manage relationships with internal partner organization and customers, including setting expectations regarding program deliverables.


• Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.


• Provide leadership to the team of program managers and engineers by setting and tracking performance goals, giving feedback and continuous coaching, giving career development directions, planning competency development etc.


• Responsible for providing a work environment that is conducive to developing and retaining an energetic and engaged work force.

Education and Experience

• First level university degree or equivalent experience required.


• Advanced university degree preferred.


• PMP/PMI/LSS certification preferred.


• Typically 5 or more years of related work experience, including 2-4 years of people management experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution.


• Advanced project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring.


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.


• Ability to manage human capital across geographies to drive workforce development and achieve desired results.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skills.


• Advanced business acumen, technical knowledge, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies.


• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.


• Strong communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation).


• Good understanding of the company’s policies and processes.
