ABS Kids is looking for a Clinical Operations Director for our Inland Empire area! The role of the Clinical Operations Director is to provide direction and leadership to ensure that the operating metrics for the market are met regarding the clinical quality, operational efficiency, and growth of ABA services regionally.
Responsibilities
What would you do?
Review and manage operating metrics as determined by the Regional Director. These include but not limited to conversion rate of scheduled direct care hours, adherence to Medically prescribed ABA hours, direct care hours per Behavior Analyst, etc.
Works closely with the Recruiting Department to identify needs for Behavior Analysts and Behavior Technicians in the area. Conducts Behavior Analyst interviews as coordinated by the Recruiting Department.
Training – Implement and oversee training programs for all clinical staff (Behavior Analysts and Behavior Therapists)
Coordinate leadership training for Assistant Directors and Behavior Analysts
Manage provider and client cancellation reports and work with Assistant Directors to manage variance from expectations
Oversee ABA Clinical Auditing – create analytics to present for executive review
Maintain and monitor clinical quality metrics as determined with Regional Director
Meet with Direct Reports (Assistant Directors) on a weekly basis to discuss the following:
Global patient concerns, Resources and needs for additional clinical tools or evaluations, Increasing competencies of clinicians, Protocol and program development tasks, Caseload Utilization evaluations
Coordinate with ABA Intake with the goal of effectively communicating intensity of services, timeline of services, and team structure.
Coordinate with scheduling team to effectively manage the appropriate assignment of cases, and assigned hours
Management of Human Resource issues for staff
Attend Administrative meetings and workgroups
Community Outreach with referral sources

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
Minimum of 3 years certified as BCBA
Proficient clinical skills
Positive parent and staff feedback
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in managing others
Ability to multitask and have a high attention to detail
Computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office and G-Suite products
Prior experience with Central Reach is preferred but not required
