Position: Warehouser I / CDL Driver
Shift: Days
Location: Alabaster, AL
The Warehouser I will perform a variety tasks regarding inventory. This position will also require product being transported to local offices via flatbed truck.Pay is $16.41/hr.
Job Duties:
- Ship/receive incoming freights.
- Distribute shop supplies upon employee request.
- Maintain inventory of shop supplies.
- Operate forklift
- Pickup/deliver items to different locations.
- Checkout loads that are leaving to ensure all items are on the truck.
- Assist with shop cleanup.
- Other duties as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be forklift certified
- Must have a valid CDL driver's license
- Must have a clean motor vehicle record
- Previous experience working in an industrial environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/walk 95% of the work day
- Lift up to 70 pounds frequently
- Twist, reach and bend frequently
- Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine)
- Possess depth perception and peripheral vision
- Possess the ability to hear
Working Conditions:
- Subject to standing on hard surfaces up to 12 hours per day
- Exposure to hot and cold conditions
