Yard Spotter (PTNB) at Batesville Logistics Inc in Batesville, Mississippi

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Part-Time (without benefits) Yard Spotter at our Batesville, IN Garage facility. 

Responsibilities:

• Record all trailer numbers per day on all of Batesville Casket's parking lots located in Batesville, IN. 


• Recognize the difference between Batesville, Manchester, Panola, and Chihuahua product.


• Recognize the difference between Manchester and Batesville style pallets.


• Recognize the different types of dunnage.


• Recognize freight types and destinations.

Qualifications:

• Must be detail oriented and mathematically inclined.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 


• Must be able to work a start time of 3am, and have flexibility in their work schedule, including weekends and holidays. 


• Drivers license is required. (A CDL is not required)

Preferred Skills

• Ability to train/manage/lead/understand LEAN or CI activities and initiatives
