Overview

As the Associate Manager-Consumer Insights with TDS Telecome, your primary role is to manage market research projects from design to completion, provide analysis of the information collected, and present the results with recommendations as necessary for our telecom and cable operations. You will be responsible for the ongoing customer satisfaction survey process, the distribution of the results, identifying any underlying causes or trends in customer satisfaction and loyalty behavior and sharing the information to the business units that can effect change on the customer satisfaction and loyalty levels.

Responsibilities

Directs market research programs to evaluate customer satisfaction levels, product usage, customer preferences, and demographics across departmental and corporate lines for telecom and cable. Ensures the quality of the reported results by monitoring processes and program designs.
• Analyzes and presents external market research results to a variety of internal staff including officers, directors, managers, and administrators to enhance the understanding of our external customers' attitudes allowing staff to make informed decisions on program and policy changes.


• Directs market research for internal customers including questionnaire design, administering web surveys, analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results allowing the customers to evaluate policy and program changes.


• Directs outside research agencies that are responsible for providing accurate and timely data.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years professional work experience.


• 3+ years experience in market research.

Other Qualifications

• Knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics required, including significance testing and regression modeling.


• Skilled with SPSS data analysis software.


• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.


• Must be able to communicate, through speech and writing, to many different types of people from diverse backgrounds, ages, and levels within and outside the organization.


• Excellent organization and planning skills, strong bias for action and a demonstrated sense of urgency.


• Decision making and problem solving skills.


• Strong proficiency with Window's based PC's.
