Evoqua is hiring for a Welder in Thomasville, GA!

The individual will process various raw materials for fabrication of semi-complex fabricated parts. He/She will interpret drawings to fit, align, calibrate and adjust parts to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. The individual will also complete the beginning steps of building equipment for Evoqua's Products, Industrial, and Municipal segments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Must be able to do FCAW, GMAW, and TIG Welding from prints.
• Interpret engineered drawings and develop modifications and improvements where applicable.
• Perform semi-complex operations using hand and power tools including chipping hammers and grinders
• Enter daily transactions in computer system.
• Trouble shoot machine and equipment issues such as faulty consumables.
• Complete all activities in full compliance with company procedures for safety requirements. Cooperate with managers and other employees to help everyone stay safe. Takes immediate action where deficiencies are identified

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrate comprehensive working knowledge of a technical or specialty area, and of operations, methods, and practices. Generally, 6 months to 2 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities as listed above.
