Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Prepare and send loan disclosure and adverse action documents to borrowers and lending staff.

  • Advise lending staff regarding lending compliance regulations and bank policy and procedures.

  • Support loan system administration, including compliance with all loan disclosures and closing documents.

  • Perform all job duties and maintain compliance with all banking acts, laws and regulations applicable to your job function.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Create and prepare reports for the Director of Mortgage and Retail Lending or the Senior Lending Operations Officer, as requested.

  • Review loan files for compliance with all regulations, as well as Bank policies and procedures.

  • Support compliance training for all staff as it relates to lending.

  • Ensure that changes to policies and procedures are communicated and implemented timely.

  • Stay abreast of legislation, regulations and compliance issues regarding the lending function.

  • May make branch visits for trainings and/or meetings.

  • May perform a variety of clerical duties which require departmental procedures such as; sending files/documents to branches, correspondence, scanning loan documentation for uploading, etc. as needed.

  • Carry out additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications Required

(Required education may be satisfied by experience and/or working knowledge)

A High School Diploma or equivalent and one-year general office experience.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Sitting for extended periods of time, requires close visual acuity and the ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment including copy machine, telephone, scanner or other basic business equipment.  Some travel is required for training staff.  The job is within the normal office environment range.

Qualifications Preferred

An Associate’s degree and at least one year of working in banking, lending, or a similar field. An intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products to include a working knowledge of Excel.
