Platform Related:

1. Minimum of > 3 years of Magento 2 Community / Enterprise Edition Experience


2. Having > 5 years of Magento 1 Community / Enterprise Edition Experience is extra advantage


3. Experience with designing & developing new modules or extending core modules on admin, frontend, api layers with single store and multi store implementations


4. Experience with core customizations by adding, extending, removing modules


5. Designing product catalog taxonomy including proper UDTs (custom attributes)


6. Designing SEO strategy for commerce platform. Using Admin to implement.


7. Designing International, multistore front commerce within 1.x, 2.x


8. Optimizing performance for front, middle, and back-end tiers.


9. Designing frontend UI using out of box theme or by building completely new


10. Developing integrations for ERP, OMS, WMS, WCS, Stream Management, and PIM


11. Design product strategy utilizing basic, configurable, and multi-configurable types.


12. Expert understanding of Caching strategies for Magento on FPC, Products, block


13. Expert understanding on magento2 design patterns usage, frontend Require JS / Knockout Js usage


14. Having experience with frameworks like Laravel or other CMS’s like Drupal, WordPress, ShopWare are extra advantage

Technology

1. Experience with older and current versions of PHP and how it can affect different magento implementations


2. Proficient in Linux both RHEL and Ubuntu


3. Proficient with CDN technologies and how to implement


4. Proficient with LEMP (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP)


5. Expert understanding of source control, deployment strategies (CICD)


6. Expert understanding of security (SELinux, Firewalld, etc)


7. Experience with installing and configuring Magento platform in both simple and distributed systems


8. Basic understanding on one or more front end technologies (REACT, Knockout, Angular, Bootstrap, Node)


9. Basic understanding of docker container and orchestration (k8s) both local and cloud.

Work Related

1. Experience with Leading Teams and working with on/offshore developers.


2. Experience with Jira / confluence or something comparable.


3. Experience with tools for diagraming and teaching others how to implement solutions.

Project Related

1. Experience in integrations with Magento and outside systems using various techniques such as using API, ETL, Flat Files will be extra advantage


2. Experience with producing RFPs and architecture documentation


3. Experience in using Jira as a PM tool
