Cigna's Talent team is seeking an Intern Program Manager / MBA Recruitment Lead. The role is a member of the Early Careers team and will be located in one of our Cigna office locations (Bloomfield, CT, Philadelphia, PA or St. Louis, MO) or WFH.
The Intern Program Manager/MBA Recruitment Lead will be responsible for managing Cigna's Intern Program and serves as the intern program subject matter expert, driving the enterprise-wide intern program experience. This associate will also lead enterprise-wide MBA recruiting including campus and sourcing strategy, relationship and candidate management, and event support and outreach. This individual will have high visibility with key stakeholders and leaders within the organization.
Program Strategy & Execution
Manage a best in class internship program consisting of professional development, executive speaker series and social / community service events
Develop and support the end-to-end summer intern experience including manager training, orientation, performance management, and educational and networking programming
Partner with Leadership Development Program leads on administering a consistent, enterprise focused internship program across all areas of the business and multiple sites across the U.S.
Partner with Diversity and Inclusion team to create a well-rounded program for all interns
Collaborate with the Employment Branding team in driving the intern program marketing & social strategiesto position us as an early career employer of choice.
Relationship and Resource Management
Advise recruiters on intern program objectives, candidate competencies, and overall strategy
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners-specifically Program Management teams, hiring managers, and key stakeholders
Provide ongoing program updates to leadership and stakeholders
Develop and contribute to processes for evaluating intern hiring needs/demand
Participate in and lead program-wide initiatives including process enhancements, communication strategy, intern role review, manager effectiveness, and intern/manager surveys
Data Analysis
Measure experience success metrics for management review
Produce and analyze reporting for key program metrics
Seek out opportunities to obtain external benchmark data and share best practices on campus recruiting and internship programming
MBA Recruiting
Partner with key internal business stakeholders to deliver talent acquisition strategy and recommendations on MBA target schools that align with key business objectives
Identify, assess, and recommend top MBA talent for career opportunities with Cigna
Manage all MBA recruiting activities (on-site or virtual) including attendance, scheduling, planning, and logistics (rooms, food, materials, etc.)
Perform candidate management updates and maintenance in Workday and client trackers
Manage all recruiting activities including scheduling, planning, and logistics (rooms, food, materials, etc.) for multiple MBA leadership development programs
Manage, analyze, and summarize candidate data to produce reports as needed
Manage and tracks referrals
Measure and analyze interview feedback to ensure a positive candidate experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
5+ years of campus recruiting or program management experience
Candidate must have excellent Microsoft office skills. MS Project is highly desirable.
Demonstrated capability to lead and manage mid-scale projects from planning through execution.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills; data analysis ability a plus.
Track record of flawless execution along with an innate ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
Superb organizational and follow-up skills; ability to prioritize and process a high volume of work for multiple team members while maintaining the highest quality results.
Ability to work successfully in an environment with high visibility.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written, along with leadership presence and the ability to influence at all levels.
Flexibility to adapt to & execute against organizational changes and priorities.
Strong team orientation, consultative skills, and collaboration skills are a must.
