What we do:

The Audit Group assists the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Board of Directors and senior management in the discharge of their fiduciary responsibilities by independently assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls and efficiency of operations pertaining to (1) financial reporting, (2) operations, and (3) compliance with laws and regulations, and the Bank's risk management and governance processes. Audit also reviews Bank programs and performs consulting services in compliance with the standards of the Internal Audit profession.

We are looking for an Executive Specialist to provide administrative support to the Audit Group, including the General Auditor (Audit Group Head) and Audit Officers. This support will help the Internal Audit Group provide assurance services to the Bank and the Audit & Risk Committee of the Board of Directors.

Your role as Executive Specialist:


  • Provide direct support to the General Auditor, and support as needed to the Audit Officers and Audit Group of approximately 40 employees, serving as the point of contact and facilitating the flow of information
  • Schedule and coordinate the logistics of internal and external meetings with leaders, staff, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with administrative support across the Bank and of external partners to manage and prioritize appointments
  • Assist the Audit Group with project work as needed. This may include the preparation and distribution of meeting materials by drafting and reviewing presentations, correspondence, agendas, memos, meeting minutes, maintaining files, and other administrative work pertaining to the conduct of audits and other work conducted by the Internal Audit Group.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, and process reimbursements
  • Ensure time and attendance are recorded in all appropriate applications for the Group Head and Officers
  • You will report directly to the General Auditor
What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of administrative experience supporting multiple senior leaders and a group of staff
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and SharePoint
  • Experience working with and communicating across all levels of the organization
  • Superior calendar management and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service with the ability to take initiative and accomplish requests proactively and effectively
