Job Summary:

• Responsible for managing and tracking outside contractor services spend, operational expenditures (OPEX), and capital expenditures (CAPEX) for MCU/MPU Engineering organization.


• Responsible for working with outside vendors and NXP procurement team to identify contractors for MCU/MPU Engineering organization.


• Establish and continually improve efficiency and accuracy of existing predictive R&D financial models, value analyses, reporting, and monitoring


• Innovative reporting to enable data-driven decision making with regards to budgets, resourcing and project data analysis


• Working with R&D staff to focus on automating current reporting processes by finding ways to eliminate repetitive steps and manual efforts involved in report creation 


• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders on R&D data analysis


• Ability to partner with different technical groups (R&D, Operations, Marketing, Program management) across the organization and broader enterprise (HR and Finance) affiliates to correctly interpret, understand and use available data


• Creation of new dashboards and reports as needed by the R&D organization 


Job Qualifications:

• Masters in Information Systems.


• Demonstrable past job experience in managing and tracking operational expenditures (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX) for a large organization.


• Demonstrable past job experience in automating processes. 


• Candidate must be hands-on: writing code, building dashboards, testing scenarios, automating processes, etc. 


• Basic to medium knowledge of statistics (descriptive, inferential, forecasting, etc.) 


• Strong oral and written communication skills 


• Demonstrated leadership skills in a team oriented environment


• SW languages: VBA for excel, 'MySQL' and in nice to have 'C'


• Tools: minitab, jmp and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools like Sciforma, Primavera or MS Project
