The Logistics Supervisor will supervise a team of Logistics Coordinators to support local delivery operations across the country. Partner with the Operations Managers in the field to meet customer expectations while creating efficient delivery routes. Review and approve Independent Service Provider (ISP) compensation prior to submission for payment.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
Training and development of direct reports as necessary, including cross-training to assure proper coverage
Dynamic last-mile route planning for a large metropolitan area
Coordinate with Operations Manager in assigned market to best address the needs of delivery teams and customers
Work to drive efficiencies within the current software environment to improve upon existing routing methods
Assist logistics coordinators in meeting their daily deadlines in order to ensure smooth operational function in the field
Review, reconcile, and process ISP compensation for delivery teams' revenue on a weekly basis
Analyze daily/weekly/monthly routing trends and provide feedback on efficiency
Monitor KPI's and work to meet goals for the department
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, undergrad degree a plus
One to three years prior logistics related work experience preferred
One to three years prior supervisory experience a plus
Previous computer experience required, proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word)
Prior knowledge of routing software a plus
