Key Roles:
• Manage large processing of spatial datasets with query and performance optimizations in Hive, Spark, Oracle 12C PL/SQL programming units
• Proficient in geospatial analytics, leveraging ESRI/Alteryx such as portal, as well as process automation using Python/ESRI arcpy.
• Develops complex models and algorithms that drive innovation throughout the organization. This may include improving on-time performance, network planning, etc.
• Collaborates with analytics engineers to implement and deploy scalable solutions
• Provides thought leadership by researching best practices, conducting experiments and collaborating with industry leaders
• Develops visual aids or BI (PowerBI or Tableau) solutions including charting, mapping, and reporting in support of findings. Advises business partners with regards to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.

Eduation: Preferred advanced college degree in Data Science, GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology or related to Analytics/GIS field.

Experience: Typically possesses strong understanding of internal business segment or stakeholders and strong presentation skills. Typically requires 5 years related experience in GIS, advanced analytics, big data, relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques, and system testing.

Job Contribution: Deep knowledge of GIS, Python, and complex analytic experience is required.
