Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently looking for a Verification Quality Engineer at our Pomona facility to join our team! The Engineer will be reporting to our Technical Director at our aerospace foundry in Pomona, CA.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Will plan, coordinate, and participate in the FA process from the QA system and requirements prospective.
Will lead and develop new process in inspection utilizing current and upcoming technologies such as Romer and Faro Arm devices used to generate SpotLight scan projections
Will interface with internal and external customers regarding nonconforming product, product quality and compliance, process compliance, and will assist in documenting and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Will assist in customer visits and attend to external process and quality audits-as required.
Will assist in preparing monthly reports to be presented to executive management for periodic review.
Will be asked to participate in customer-provided training or industry-offered training seminars.
May require traveling to visit customers-as required.
Will participate in internal audits, perform follow-up audits and assist in incorporating any changes and/or modifications to the QMS in concurrence with the approval of the Quality Assurance Manager.
Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development
Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: B.S. in Engineering, Physics, or Math or equivalent and relevant industry experience.
Experience: 3+ years of Aerospace Industry Experience
Certifications/Licenses: N/A
Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficient in the use of PCDMIS and/or PolyWorks using a Romer and/or Faro Arm. Must have experience in reverse engineering or utilizing scan data. Strong problem solving skills with ability to teach basic problem solving techniques and facilitate problem solving team events. Strong engineering analysis skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform data analysis and reporting. Proficient in use of MS Office software such as Excel. Word, PowerPoint. Ability to maintain regular and acceptable attendance as determined by department manager.
