| Infosys is seeking Network Administration with exposure to scripting. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Data Engineers and Subject Matter Experts. Essential Job Duties Consultant having experience with Implementation & Migration. Consultant needs to maintain best practices and collaborates with the architecture and application teams to set the technical vision and target architecture Required Qualifications: • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Chicago, IL or Indianapolis or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education • At least 4 years of IT experience • At least 4 years of experience as Network Administrator • Cisco Certified Network Professionals or equivalent is preferred • Understanding of common routing protocols OSPF, BGP, VRF, WAN, LAN, Firewall, Proxy Services, Routing and Switching, Application Load Balancing • Understanding of Firewall support (Palo Alto, F5 Firewall) • Ruby,Python, Ansible scripting knowledge will be added advantage • Experience with Enterprise Network Infrastructure and Topology • Experience in any of Network monitoring tools, e.g. Grafana, PHP IPAM opensource, Kibana, Kentik, Thousandeyes, Noction, etc is a PLUS • Perform problem management for permanent resolution of issues and incident reduction • Follow and adhere to the ITSM processes • Should be willing to work on 24X7 operation model and provide on-call support on Weekends and off-hours in case of business need • U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
