Responsible for working with a team to analyze source code using automated software assurance (SwA) tools.
Contributes to developing testing methodologies, formulates testing scores and creates test cases that support SwA tool analysis.
Supports testing of DoD client software and interfaces with clients to define recommended remediation.
Creates reports and documentation.
Required Skills:
12 years of experience (8 with a Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university) in Systems Security Engineering or Software vulnerability assessment.
5 years of experience programming in Java, C, C++, or C#
Information Assurance:
5 years of experience using and tuning source code analysis tools, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses.
3 years of experience designing and testing SwA Analysis Processes.
3 years of experience interpreting, prioritizing, and using source code SwA Tools results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software.
Information Technology - 3 years of experience in Python programming (or some other scripting language).
Other:
5 years of experience preparing and presenting briefings and written reports on software assurance issues.
2 years of experience performing statistical analysis.
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
