Copywriter Internship

Key Web Concepts, Inc., the digital marketing division of NTS (Networking Technologies & Support),a Chesterfield County-based digital marketing firm is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic individual who meets the qualifications below to work in their Midlothian, VA office as a Part-time Copywriter Intern. The position would require between 24 and 30 hours per week of work in our office.

The position would include:

• Collaborating with staff to create original and creative content for websites, social media campaigns, print graphics and other marketing materials


• Assisting clients with communicating their brand through content marketing.


• Supporting current staff in researching target markets for clients and their competitors marketing efforts


• Learning the basics of organic SEO by implementing "search engine friendly" content to enhance Organic Search Engine Optimization as it is implemented on client websites.

Experience:

• Either a 4-year degree in journalism, creative writing, English or a similar discipline, or in the final year of college working toward the same.


• at least 1 year experience in creative writing


• Have strong presentation and communication skills


• Have a positive attitude and a sense of humor


• Have a strong work ethic and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines.

Working knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS and Organic SEO a plus.

Job Type: Internship

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour Or College Credit

Duration: 3 months
