Job Description

The Senior Payroll Specialist will act as a subject matter expert to others in the area of payroll processing. Ensure all payroll transactions are processed in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Research and resolve questions as related to processing of payroll information. Audit reports and reconcile any errors in a timely fashion. Compiles financial, tax and payroll reports for both internal and external purposes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or relevant field preferred.


• Knowledge of applicable state and federal payroll and related tax regulations.


• Knowledge of basic accounting practices and procedures.


• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
