Per Diem Anatomic Pathologist at Loyola University Of Chicago in Maywood, Illinois

The Department of Pathology of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine is seeking a Per Diem Anatomic Pathologist with fellowship training or experience in Gastrointestinal /Liver pathology.

The successful candidate will join a cohesive team of sub specialized surgical pathologists who handle approximately 35,000 surgical specimens annually. Ample opportunities for clinical/translational research and multidisciplinary collaboration with investigators of the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center are available. The selected candidate will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor commensurate with experience.

LUMC is a 547-licensed-bed hospital that includes the William G. and Mary A. Ryan Center for Heart & Vascular Medicine, the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, a Level 1 trauma center, Illinois's largest burn center, a certified comprehensive stroke center and a children's hospital.
