Job Description:

The Ultra manufacturing function is responsible for the manufacture, integration and assembly of a wide range of products and systems providing innovative capabilities for our customers.

The Assembler, Solderer will work on ceramic filters; assembling electronic components to RFI (radio frequency interference ) designs according to verbal instructions or written instructions. Mechanically assemble parts and tasks such as potting, encapsulation, epoxy bonding, sanding, and cleaning. Performs online go no-go testing and inspections. Trouble shoot and repair assemblies.

We are a supplier of specialist power supplies and degaussing systems for the electromagnetic silencing of naval vessels. We also provide transformer rectifier units, high voltage power conversion sub-systems and a wide variety of magnetic and power components.

Tools:

You will use a soldering iron, solder pot, and hand tools, magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure assemblies meet RFI design specifications and industry standards.

Required Skills:

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificate


• High School diploma or equivalent.


• This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

Desired Skills:

• Able to interpret specification, diagram and/or blueprints.


• Able to perform simple math (addition and subtraction, ex. look at dimension)

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting and transport of units up to 30 lbs unassisted


• Ability to use soldering iron


• Use of hands in a repetitive cycle

Work Environment:

• Factory environment


• Hours are Mon to Thurs: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am to 11:00 am

Other:

• Must pass qualification test upon completion of soldering training


• Certification to Mil-Std J-Std-001 soldering spec
