Job Description


Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Development Intern in Minneapolis! This role will support the pursuit of new business and the execution of Ryan-owned and third-party owned development and construction projects.


This role would also support Real Estate Management.

Some things you can expect to support and perform:



  • Market research

  • Organizing project information, communication andmeetings.

  • Preparing deal approval packages for the board of directors and management teams.

  • Assisting in site evaluation and acquisition and LOI/Lease negotiations.

  • Assistance in coordinating tenant improvement construction projects.

  • Supporting the entitlement process.

  • Involvement in creating development proposals and simple to complex development proforma.


To be successful in this role, you must be:



  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in real estate or finance or related fields.

  • Within 18 months of graduation.

  • Able to work up to 20 hours a week for at least three months.

  • Are extremely well-organized.

  • Have the ability to implement development tasks on multiple development projects with moderate supervision from associate or senior development staff.

  • Communicate clearly.

  • Demonstrate entry-level presentation skillset.

  • Display relationship building skillset.

  • Collaborate well.
