Community Engagement Specialist at Nemours in Wilmington, Delaware

Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing support with creating and distributing internal/communications, managing the department shared site (e.g. teamshare), and serving as the primary point of contact for associate volunteers. This position will also manage the Nemours Community Funding , associate recognition, and Do Gooders program.

  • Manage highly-visible projects & communications in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Meet deadlines for projects set forth by the strategic plan.
  • Organize and monitor inter-connected projects.
  • Effectively communicate with team and business partners.
  • Prepare or assist with the development of volunteering programs.
  • Communicate with team to ensure efficiency and accuracy of projects.
  • Create professional presentations, communications, documents to support communications
  • Enhances the Office of Community Engagement and Nemours' reputation by accepting ownership for and accomplishing new requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to the Office of Community Engagement.

    • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • At least 3 years of Community Engagement experience
