We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a Supervisor to join our Canoe Ridgeteam in Paterson, WA.
What you will do:
- Creates an inclusive team-based culture where individuals are respected and valued for their a diverse set of backgrounds and ideas.
- Develops and delivers performance feedback that is timely, respectful, constructive and actionable.
- Responsible for the day-to-day performance of area personnel including safety, production, and quality objectives
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of the function and operating characteristics of area equipment to ensure production objectives are carried out efficiently
- Encourages teamwork and collaboration. Demonstrates an ability to balance team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit.
- Delegates work assignments; sets expectations and monitors delegated activities; Provides recognition for results.
- Monitors personnel time and PTO in TimeForce (payroll time keeping system) to ensure personnel attendance is up-to-standards with company guidelines and assist in the processing of accurate bi-weekly payroll.
- Individual and team accountability is fair and consistent; in accordance to company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Ensures that SOPs are up-to-date and current. Administers training as necessary.
- Champions safety
- Sets clear expectations and standards of accountability for self and for the team, creating an environment where teams are inspired to take ownership for their actions and results.
- Increases efficiency and overall performance through root-cause problem solving and effective decision-making. Instills an approach of "right the first time."
- Coordinates work with Safety Department to ensure that personnel is up to date with certifications, assist with policy reviews, and continue to reinforce our commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Supervises adjacent areas/zones to ensure daily operations are carried out safely and efficiently
