2nd & 3rd Shift Production Technicians - Processing and Packaging Depts

2nd Shift
Starting pay: $18.30 / hour
Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (Monday - Friday)

3rd Shift
Starting pay: $17.80 / hour
10:00 pm - 6:00 am (Sunday - Thursday)

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Processing - ingredient preparation and batch processing of jams, jellies, preserves, & condiments for all production lines. Responsible for: startups, normal operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, shutdown, cleaning, sanitation, and inspection.


• Packaging - Safely operates and maintains all packaging equipment. Responsible for: equipment setup, changeovers, assembly, centerlines, startups, normal operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, shutdown, cleaning, sanitation, and inspection.


• Applying HACCP, plant quality, plant GMPs, and food safety requirements to the daily performance of the job


• Ensuring that all operating systems necessary to ensure food safety, quality, and sanitation processes are functioning properly while supporting all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives


• Troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance and quality checks on processing equipment while maintaining documentation and production records


• Supporting Total Employee Involvement (TEI) by participating in Leadership roles, System Ownership and other continuous improvement initiatives intended to promote improved plant performance
