• Oversight of the team's engineering, design and architecture for Zero Trust, Network Admission Control (NAC), NGFW andNetwork threat solutions (Palo Alto Networks, Vectra, Aruba / Forescout, Cloudflare etc), WAF's,Network Honeypots, DDOS IDS/IPS, NAC, VPN solutions etc




• Work with Broadcom Network Operations to drive security, stability and performance of Broadcom Infrastructureand work with Network Security Engineering team.




• Work closely with Cloud Security, Infrastructure and general Security teams on strategy for cloud enablement, technical solutions and establishing next generation cloud firewall / CyberSecurity features, solutions and capabilities (Container Security, Microsegmentation and overall Cloud Security).




• Ensure Network Security Services (across all Broadcom BU's) are performing in conjunction with Security's best practices and principles (and Broadcom infoSec Policies).




• Participate as an active member of the security incident response team.

Requirements:

• Possess minimum 8 years experience with enterprise firewall administration as well as the design and implementation of industry leading Network security practices;Strong understanding of network security technologies, their operation and limitations, including: - Firewalls (Palo Alto) - Network IDS/IPS Solutions - Switch/Router ACLs - Network Access Control solutions - IPSec and TLS -based VPNs - Familiarity with networking protocols and the OSI Model - DNS -Network Security Policies, SSL decryption configuration and troubleshooting.




• 5+ years demonstrated Security Risk Assessment for firewall rule implementations.




• Minimum of 5 years experience implementing and managing Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems (IDS, IPS).




• 5+ Years Experience with DNS and DHCP security.




• 5+ Years' Experience with wireless security.




• 2+ years of hands-on experience securing cloud applications and infrastructure (GCP strongly preferred)




• Thorough knowledge of the TCP/IP suite of protocols (including IPv6)




• BS degree and 8+ years' experience

Preferred Qualification:
Certification from (ISC)2, ISACA, SANS, Cisco preferred
