Job Description:
Under minimal supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Responsible for complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests. Coaches others in less senior positions.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.Three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Job Description:
Responsible for collaborative, agile development, configuration, and deployment of Ab Initio ETL Frameworks supporting Data Warehousing, Data Marts and Data Lake implementations at FedEx. In addition, this position requires the technical mentoring of less-senior individuals and oversight of vendor resource deliverables.
Experience using the following Technologies Considered a Plus:
* Ab Initio GDE, Express>It, Co>Operating System, Data Profiling, Metadata Hub technologies
* Ab Initio implementations in both batch and transactional systems
* Data Stores (JMS / Oracle)
* Linux/Unix OS
