Job Description
The Pharma Solutions Division of IFF is seeking a seasoned professional with cross functional experience to act as a Regional Service Quality Leader (RSQL). The Americas RSQL is responsible for ensuring that service quality objectives for all products in the core Pharma Solutions portfolio within the Americas region are achieved. The RSQL looks after a portfolio of customers relationships valued at $325 million/year in annual sales.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor Service Level Performance for Top / Target Accounts as measured by key performance indicators.
* Proactively Implement Corrective Actions when Service Level falls below target
* Act as the focal point for the region for all Customer focused Product and Service Quality related matters.
* Lead Service Quality Level Corrective and Preventive Action Projects working with cross functional team members.
* Participate in key customer facing key account teams and meetings and act as focal point for supply chain, quality and
customer service functions as needed.
* Manage customer communications related to change notification events.
* Lead administration of commercial responsibilities related to product quality recalls.
* Act as Commercial focal point for non-productive inventory management reviews.
* Act as supply chain coordinator/leader for route to market restructuring activities
* Proactively monitor progress to daily goods issue plans and interface with key functions to define short term corrective
actions when deviations are observed.
* Lead quarterly order review process for high value orders to ensure orders invoice within quarter or are de-risked
appropriately in demand forecast and financial outlook.
* Lead sales and operations execution meeting, participate in regional monthly demand reviews, act as linker between
supply and demand reviews processes.
Critical Success Factors:
* Leader with history of cross functional experience related to order to cash ideally including a combination of customer
service, supply chain, logistics and / or quality assurance.
* Has a holistic view of how business operates from forecasting, to order entry, planning, scheduling, production, quality
control, storage, shipment, receipt and invoicing.
* Demonstrated oral and written communication skills who can effectively make a compelling case for change and
ensure buy in with both internal and external stakeholders.
* A strategic thinker who can chart a long-term strategic direction towards an improved state while still paying attention
to short term execution details.
* Possesses the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment where work is accomplished through
influence rather than hierarchy and direction.
* Demonstrated skills in the use of PowerPoint for the preparation of presentations destined to all levels in the
organization and key customer stakeholders.
* Results driven and possesses a strong sense of personal accountability and bias for action.
* Demonstrated skills at managing multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
* Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years work experience in a related function, such as Chemistry, Engineering, business
area, etc.
* Six Sigma Green or Black Belt a plus
Preferred:
* Experience in the Pharmaceutical area
This position reports to the Global Sales Operations Leader for the Pharma Solutions platform based in Wilmington, DE.
