Our division works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today. Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering, we handle projects that help clients at major milestones. We work with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments and are team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

CREDIT SOLUTIONS

The Credit Solutions desk creates capital, accounting and tax efficient solutions for Corporate clients. The team is focus on identifying new problems and creating bespoke solutions. The team works in tandem with the Corporate Derivatives team which helps corporations and financial sponsors address macro market exposures across interest rates, foreign exchange, commodities and credit derivatives. The team interacts closely with both the Global Markets Division desks, Investment Banking Division (Investment Grade Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance and Classic Banking) and Federation (accounting, tax, controllers, treasury, regulatory capital) to educate clients, help develop innovative solutions and execute trade ideas.

The team is looking for a high energy Associate who is intellectually curious and has track record of origination and new product development.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

* Originating opportunities by identifying client needs that require innovative solutions

* Structuring new or tailored solutions to problems identified

* Effectively communicating complicated concepts in clear/simple ways and verbalizing benefits to both internal and external stakeholders

* Executing transactions, obtaining new product approvals and hedging/distributing risk

* Implementing an organized sales approach (creating velocity and efficiency)

* Educating coverage teams on solutions and how they apply to their clients

* Utilizing knowledge of corporate finance, derivatives (credit, rates, FX, commod), capital markets

* Managing people and processes to execute business plan

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Strong academic record with Bachelor's or advanced degree required

* Track record or origination and new product/solution development

* Quantitative / analytic reasoning and problem-solving abilities

* Energetic and persistent

* Results-oriented work ethic based upon responsibility, enthusiasm, and pride in work

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Promotes a teamwork environment and collaboration

* Ability to manage on multiple projects and work streams

* Persuasive, ability to influence without authority

* Prior relevant experience with Global Markets products

* Working knowledge of accounting, tax, regulatory capital, supply chain
