Job Summary

Spot (by NetApp) is looking for a superstar Commercial Account Executive to drive our growth in the US. This is an opportunity to join a young Rocketship company that hit its first $10M ARR in under one year, with no sales team, and is now on a very steep growth trajectory as part of NetApp.

Spot Commercial Account Executives are on a mission to help companies address the increased complexity and costs associated with the Cloud. This will be achieved by bringing your entrepreneurial spirit, character, and skills to grow the business of the assigned territory. The territory is primarily greenfield, with several referenceable, marque brand customers in the region. You will be supported by leaders, Solution Architects, and Partner / Alliance, who have the skills, knowledge and passion to lead you to new heights in your career.

Qualifications

3+ years' experience closing B2B SaaS/Software subscriptions in a highly technical environment.

2+ years' experience selling solutions into IT or DevOps.

Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Impeccable customer skills: communication, empathy, integrity

Proven success in lead generation, prospecting, pipeline generation, pipeline progression, negotiation and closing complex sales cycles.

Mastery of sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, MEDDPIC, Challenger, etc.

Outstanding relationships in the Resell/Partner network and professional network of contacts.

Proficient understanding of cloud native technologies and their business benefits.

Proficient understanding of public cloud providers, their business models and offerings.

At least 80% of the people you have worked with put you in the top 10% of the people they have worked with.


Job Requirements


Responsibilities

Prospect, qualify and develop a robust sales pipeline of a minimum 3x coverage for New Logo and Revenue Bookings goals

Communicate the value of Spot solutions to C-level executives and other senior enterprise decision-makers.

Conduct discovery and execute on sales process to uncover company's needs.

Develop and execute on a strategic plan for your territory to meet bookings & revenue objectives.

Timely and accurate updating of Salesforce.com customer information, forecasts and pipeline data to ensure the generation of accurate territory and management reports.
