DHL Express currently has an opening for a Sr. Training Specialist at our CVG HUB located in Erlanger, Kentucky.  This role will be part of an energetic team that supports HUB employees through delivering customized training programs to improve employee and management performance to better achieve organizational goals.  The Sr. Operations Training Specialist also evaluates training programs to ensure they are providing the appropriate level of instruction and skills development to the employee groups. They will actively facilitate training classes, including New Employee Orientation, carrier/government mandated training programs and proprietary Certified International Specialist (CIS) programs.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Administers, organizes and conducts structured learning experiences in connection with management, development, on-the-job training and employee orientation for employees

  • Is responsible for providing support materials for new training programs that result in improved performance and achievement of organizational goals

  • Modifies and updates existing training programs and support materials as needed

  • Provides support to management in regards to training issues

  • Maintains records of training activities and employee progress

  • Makes recommendations to management on needs assessment and evaluation results.

  • May design and develop in-house programs

  • Facilitates train-the-trainer or other programs

Skills & Qualifications:

 


  • BS/BA in a related discipline, or equivalent education

  • Two or more years’ experience in the cargo-airline or transportation industry preferred

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel are required

  • Advanced communication and presentation skills required
