Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for a HR Business Partner. This is a highly visible and impactful role in the organization which provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. This position works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. This role reports to the Human Resources Director.

What you’ll do:
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors including coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions
Crate and maintain employee files
Participates in proactive efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Identify training needs for business unit and works to implement
Evaluate employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly
Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
Empower the sharing of ideas through a culture of diversity and inclusion
Provide employees and leaders with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on HR topics and issues
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Responsible for full cycle recruiting
Update and maintain job descriptions and ADA Physical Requirements for all plant positions
Plan and conduct new employee orientation
Assist in building applicant sources through researching and contacting resources
May participate in candidate interviews where necessary
Embrace and encourage innovation, creativity and problem-solving.

What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
3 years of previous human resources experience
PHR or SPHR highly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work well with individuals at all levels
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to use discretion, good judgement and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously with limited supervision
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of AAP/EEO regulations relating to personnel selection
Previous HRIS experience with the ability to learn various software applications
Experience in a manufacturing company with high volumes of touch labor positions preferred

Full-time Position
Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds
May require work coverage beyond normal business hours and on weekends/holidays
Must tolerate both high and low temperatures, and loud noises commonly found in manufacturing
Must tolerate dusty work environment commonly found in heavy weld fabrication
