About This Position

The position is a Supervisorial position that is responsible for supervising the staff and operations of a shift of the Packaging Department.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

Open or close facility as directed
• Follow and enforce all Company stated Safety Procedures


• Apply and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) daily


• Maintain Plant in compliance with all OSHA, FDA and HACCP guidelines


• Schedule production personnel and staff according to schedule


• Set up machinery to run production schedule, changing schedule if needed when items are completed on prior shift


• Ensure all machines scheduled are running properly and the correct product


• Ensure quality is being met at all times while meeting production goals


• Confer with other department managers to ensure production is coordinated to optimize quality and production


• Continually monitor the status of production and machinery


• Inform Production Manager of any production, quality, personnel problems, damage, theft or unsafe conditions immediately

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Minimum of 3 three years related work experience


• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals


• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public


• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry


• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists


• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form


• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) Company or Facility background check and drug screening
